Become a Volunteer

Do you want to be a part of something wonderful? Contact us and tell us more about a special talent you have or service you would like to provide! You are also welcome to stop by any of our adoption events and speak with a B.A.R.K. representative!

    Volunteer Positions Needed

    Transporters

Taking animals to the vet, from shelters, from the foster home to adoption events, transporting food, etc. is an important part of keeping our rescue group running smoothly! Kennels and leashes provided as well as blankets or towels to protect your vehicle.

    Educators

Do you work with kids? Are you involved in a church group who loves animals? Do you have a group of coworkers who would benefit from a dog day lunch break? B.A.R.K. volunteers can “go mobile” and bring our dogs (and cats, chickens, or rabbits) to you! We believe in spreading the love of rescue, educating the public on why we believe so passionately about what we do, and working with our community leaders to develop service projects or fun volunteer events!

    Trainers

New foster dogs can sometimes have behavior quirks that make them less appealing to new adopters. So, if you know a good trainer who likes a challenge and wants to help a dog become all they can be, we can provide a demonstration dog!

    Donation Collectors

Easy to do from the comfort of your home! Collect any new or used items for dogs (newspapers, old blankets or towels, stuffed toys, treats, etc) and contact us to pick them up. A great activity for kids and a wonderful way to recycle used items!
